Q&A: Why do I have to wait so long for my appointment?

If we could accommodate everyone right away we would but unless you’ve been living under a rock over the last two years, you’d understand why your appointment won’t be scheduled for at least a few months from when you put down your deposit. For the most recent and obvious reason, like everyone else, artists were blindsided by an unexpected pandemic that forced shop closures all around the world. Now, as artists begin to return back to ‘normalcy’, we have the demanding task of rescheduling up to 8 months worth of appointments. Some clients anxiously waiting for their appointment prior to lockdown just to have it postponed with many others with unfinished sleeves and back pieces waiting for their next session. We’ll admit, pandemics are an anomaly when it comes to wait times but it’s important to acknowledge that wait times are to be expected.

Any reputable artist will/should be in demand. Tattooing is a unique service where artists and their style of work is sought after. It’s not uncommon for a tattoo artist to have a waitlist with clients, returning and new, patiently waiting so take this as a good sign when booking your next tattoo!

We know how exciting it is when planning for your first/next tattoo and having to wait can really throw a wrench into the gears but don’t let that deter you. Patience is a virtue and we can confidently say, it’s worth the wait.
