World's 2016 BJJ Champions

The World Jiu Jitsu Championship, also known as the Mundials, is one of the oldest and most prestigious Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions on Earth.  It is arguably one of the deepest talent pools to compete in, and we're super proud to now count two members of Toronto's BJJ as top medalists in their divisions at the 2016 Mundials.

Meagan and Vicky faced top level talent and fought their way to Gold and Silver medals respectively under immense pressure and emotion, and came out on top.  We're super proud of their accomplishments, and we all owe immense gratitude to Professor Jorge Britto, Josh Rapport, Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu and Toronto BJJ for giving us the opportunity to learn and train in the best environment possible, and for planting the seeds that have grown into world champions like Vicky and Megan.
